MBA & UP Technical University

Masters in Business Administration or MBA as it is commonly known.. is a degree in business management. It is generally a 2 years full time degree that aims at teaching the business management concepts & fundamentals to the students. One of the most controvertial question that poeple face is that weather the managers are made of are born.. I feel leaders are born but the managers are made..People may give an argument that Late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani never went to a management institute but he was a very successful manager... But, I would say that he would have also at some point in time gone through the different management concepts & theories and a very large chunk of people that worked for him were MBA's. Let us not get into this argument.. Only thing I would say here is that the management concets though not applicable as they are but have a great importance in sharpening one's management skills ... I would say that MBA is not only a degree but an institution that changes a person's perceptions & thoughts... I would try & incorporate such notes & case studies in this blog that would help the students of UPTU to understant the management concepts easily & better way.
